As a Mum of two young children, I can appreciate the worries you may have about your child. Our children are precious, and we want them to have the best possible start and grow into strong, healthy and happy individuals.

We don’t just nurture our children with love – we nurture them with food. And food is the basis of vibrant health – we really are what we eat. In my experience, many of the health issues young children face are to do with what they’re eating.

Weaning children with the right foods at the right time can reduce susceptibility to food intolerances and atopic diseases like asthma and eczema. The right food choices can help nurture a healthy brain, promote sound sleep and stable mood – the latter two are really important in toddlers and babies! I advise you on diet and food intolerances.

Early Years - sara says:

Mandarin essential oil (Citrus reticulata) is a great choice for children, especially when they’re feeling fractious and tired. It calms the nerve and soothes, also helping tummy upsets too. You can burn it in an electric oil burner, which doesn’t require a candle and can be safely left on throughout the night.

Balancing blood sugar is crucial for children – low blood sugar is a major cause of tantrums and poor sleep.
